Fossil Quarries in the Middle Cambrian Wheeler Shale Formation, House Range. These quarries are on land owned and leased by the State of Utah. There is also much Federal land which is leased and quarried for flagstone where removal of fossils is illegal -- these fossils are being destroyed and lost to science -- what are they thinking?
